e. Holocaust

294.           Correspondence letter sent from Auschwitz, 30 May 1943., addressed to the city of Krakow in Poland. In German. The letter is asking about the family members. Censor sealed on the envelope „Geprüft K. L. Auschwitz”, and „Briefmarke vom Postprüfer entfernt” (=Stamp removed by censors). Torn at the folding.

295.           Correspondence postcard of the Chr. Keinath knitting-machine factory from Reutlingen, sent to Rosenfeld Imre, Budapest, which informs that the ordered machines can not be delivered due to the war. 15 March 1943. With German Empire stamps and seals, „Heil Hitler!” inscription.

296.           Certificates issued after liberation to Mrs. Ábrahám Istvánné deportee, who was in Auschwitz from 7 July 1944. until 1 April 1945., confirming her persecution of religion, in German, with the seal of the mayor’s office of Fulda, signed, with photos. (2 pieces.) + English identity card, fingerprint, which served as passport as well. Together: 4 photos of the liberated camp, some US Army officers, 2 photos of the son of Ábrahám Istvánné, wearing Bocskai uniform and Yellow star of David. Together with: the original cloth Yellow star of David which is seen on the photo (from the family heritage, with all documents). (Together 11 pieces.)
