102. (MANUSCRIPT) Legend of Joseph (Joseph-Spiel). Traditional Jewish folk play, written based on the Hebrew novel of Bin Gorion (M.J. Berdyczewsky, 1865-1921) by Rosenthal Jenő from Miskolc, music composed by Gránát József, Miskolc. Play-book and score, with flyer printed on the premier show of 1946. The traditional Jewish Purim play was performed in Miskolc, at the orthodox Jewish youth association (Tiferesz Bachurim) in 1936, later in March 1940, finally in the new Jewish youth organization Agudat Jiszrael after the Holocaust, March 1946. The invitation flyer includes names of the actors, the conductor, director and showman. This machine typed manuscript of the play-book (from before the 1946 performance) was the copy of the conductor (Gránát József), signed with personal dedication of the author (Rosenthal Jenő). The musical score is most likely by Gránát József, which was only written down in this one manuscript.
